Brenda Gail Shea

A Celebration Life Service for Brenda Gail Shea will be 12pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm and Thursday from 11am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Stateline Cemetery.

Brenda passed away on June 30, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Alcorn County to the late EH and Olivia Farris. She began her career at Gibsons, before becoming the Head Cook at Burnsville Head Start; she also sold cookware. Brenda was a member of Stateline Church in Walnut. She enjoyed planting flowers, shopping, quilting, and loved spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Earl Shea, Sr. and brother, Herbert Felker.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Travis Shea, Jr. and Brian Shea; grandchildren, Taylor Sanders (Dylan) of Burnsville, MS and Zachery Shea of Murfreesboro, TN; great grandchild, Travis Drake Sanders; sister, Judy Murphy of Boonville; brother, Jerry Farris (Betty) of Johnson City, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
