Claudie Cecil Wooten

Funeral services for Claudie Cecil Wooten, 71, of Corinth are set for 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Leonard Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Chewalla, Tn.

Mr. Wooten died May 9, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

Mr. Wooten was a member of Butler’s Chapel Baptist Church and was farmer who enjoyed gardening and attending to his farm animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Nettie Crabb Wooten , sister: Mavis Derryberry, Brother-in-law: J.C. Reed.

His is survived by his companion of 30 years Bonnie Howell of Corinth, son: Allen Wooten (Paula), Daughter: Teresa Mauney (Tom), Step-sons: Danny Spencer (Angie), Roger Spencer (Mandy), Step-daughter: Jessica Walker (Marcus) all of Corinth, Ms. Sisters: Anice Hutcheson (John), Avis Reed all of Chewalla, Tn., Brother-in-law: Bud Derryberry of Southaven, Ms. The mother of his children: Peggy Wooten of Corinth. 4 grandchildren: Corey Johnson, Justin Glissen, Elgin Harris, Eljah Harris, 9 step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild: Cobey Parvin.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie South, Brian Bivins, Jessie Brooks, Chris Spencer, Brian Lambert, Joey Spencer
