Mrs. Clyde Mitchell Bray

Funeral services for Clyde “Nanny” Bray are set for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Johnny Parrack and Bro. Josh Hite officiating. Burial will be in the Forrest Memorial Park cemetery.

Mrs. Bray died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Southern Magnolia Estates in Iuka, MS. She was born on November 27, 1918 to the late H.T. and Galada Mitchell. Her life was filled with joy, praise, and lots of fun. Besides her family, her proudest accomplishment was receiving her 40 year pin for perfect attendance in Sunday School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, fishing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had an impact on the life of every person she met!

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Lathon Bray and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Blaylock and husband Jim of Counce, TN; two sisters, Clela Mae Smith of Myrtle, MS and Cloise Austin of Bruce MS; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a great host of friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 15th from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 A.M. till service time on Saturday.
