Connie was a graduate of Northside High School in Memphis. She worked several years for ITT. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church and she faithfully supported St. Jude Children's Hospital as well as other charitable organizations. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a young brother, Danny Wilhite.
She is survived by her son, Dimp Welzbacher; granddaughter, Madison Welzbacher; sister, Janis Wilhite Morgan; brother, Joey Wilhite; niece, Annie Richardson (Jason); nephew, Zeke Wilhite; great-nieces, Maris, Margo and Mia Richardson and her aunts, uncles, family and friends.
