Donald J. Crum

Funeral services for Rev. Donald J. "Papa" Crum, 83, will be 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Community Full Gospel Tabernacle with Bro. David Gifford and Bro. Dan Roseberry. Burial will be in the Crum Cemetery.

Mr. Crum died on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, December 10, 1927 to the late Alfred and Sarah Crum. During his life he worked for Alcorn County on the road crew from which he retired and was the pastor and founder of the Lick Branch Community Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Sam Crum; one brother, Pete Crum and a sister, Bonnie Mullins.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Vera Crum; three daughters, Gladys Jones and her husband Jerry, Delilah Hearn and her husband David, Patsy Moss and her husband Terry; one son, Johnny Austin; honorary children, Junior Settlemires and Geneva Moss and her husband Wayne; two sisters, Margarette Garrett and Hettie Crum all of Corinth; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 5 honorary grandchildren and 10 honorary great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Anthony, Kevin, Jeremy Jones, Jemiach and Eric Austin, Mark and Timothy Loveless, Adam and Jeff Moss and Scotty Settlemires will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 20th from 3:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home and from 10:00 A.M. till service time at the church.
