Faye Bain

A service to celebrate the life of Faye Huggins Bain, 83, will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Wednesday from 12 noon until service time. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service.

Faye passed away on March 24, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born July 1, 1940 in Alcorn County to the late Idell and Bernice Byrd Huggins. She retired in 2007 as a factory worker. She enjoyed collecting clowns and finishing jigsaw puzzles but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Danny Wilson (Pam), Regina McBride (Randy), and Sonya Jowers; grandchildren, Daniel Garrett (Kristy), Shelby Sargent (April), Brooke Shadburn (Russ), Megan Box (Tyler), Jennifer Johnston (Tyler), Dusty Smith (Ashley) and Jesse Smith; great-grandchildren, Farrah Garrett, Alexander Garrett, Mason Shadburn, Eli Shadburn, Rhett Shadburn, Benton Box, John Archer Box, Linden Faye Box, Avery Rencher, Amery Rencher and Hallie Smith; and a sister, Emma Hammersmith (Terry).

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Bain; sons, Keith Wilson and Randy Wilson; brothers and sisters, Bettye Davis, Mary Moore, Jane Climer, Hazel Phillips, William Byrd, Tommy Byrd, Floyd Byrd and Opal Isbell.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Garrett, Shelby Sargent, Russ Shadburn, Tyler Box, Dusty Smith and Jesse Smith.
