Gladys Alyene Brown Smith

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 3:00 P.M. at McPeters Funeral Directors Chapel

with Minister James Vansandt officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until service time.

Mrs. Smith was a member of West Corinth Church of Christ, she was a long time associate of the Wurlitzer

Corporation and was very proud of her prior years as sales associate for Rubel's Department Store.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Smith; parents Walter and Hettie Brown; brothers Archie Crum and Herbert Brown; sisters, Epsie Davis and Helen Dobson and special friend, Foy Reynolds.

Survivors includes one sister, Myrtle Parish of Kossuth; nephews, Jimmy Parish (Janice) of Kossuth, Bobby Crum of Germantown, TN; nieces, Syble Thrasher (Bobby) of Kossuth; Carolyn Faye Harvill (Larry) of Michie, TN; Bernice Mills of Corinth; Sue Harvill of Jackson: TN, Marie Lively (Bob) of Jackson, TN; Sarah Butler (Mike) of Bartlett, TN and Patty Young (Richard) of Arlington, TN. Several great nieces, nephews and friends Arthur and Shirleen Wroten.
