Harold Wayne Castile

A Celebration of Life Service for Harold Wayne Castile, 78, is set for 2:00 pm Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Hisaw and Bro. Donnie Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 am to service time.

Wayne died January 21, 2024 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1945 in Alcorn Co. to the late Herman Lee Castile and Ruby Earlene Justice Castile. He was a US Army Veteran, a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle and retired from Dana after 30 year. He then became a used car dealer for many years. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and collection coins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Woodall Castile; son, Brad Castile; daughters, Trina Johnson and Tina Walters (Carey); grandchildren, Megan Monroe (Scott), Morgan Meeks (Derek), and Trevor McAfee; great grandchildren, Weston Monroe, Kaitlyn Monroe, Jordan Meeks, Jocelyn McAfee, and Blakelyn McAfee; brothers, Kenneth “KC” Castile, Randle Castile, Billy Keith Wills, and Todd Shaddix; and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Trevor McAfee, Scott Monroe, Weston Monroe, Derek Meeks Jordan Meeks, Corey Huggins, and Cedric Schnabl.
