Hildegarde Cribbs

Hildegarde Cribbs, 93, of Corinth, MS passed Sunday June 12, 2022 at Cornerstone Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was loved by many and will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10:30 am at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 10:00 am until service time.

Born in Germany in 1929, Hildegarde came to the United States in the early 1950’s to begin her life and start a family. She was born to the late Herman and Elizabeth Hohl. In the coming years, she met and married the love of her life James Cribbs and the two would go on to start a wonderful family.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, James Lee Cribbs; parents, Herman and Elizabeth Hohl; one brother, Helmut Hohl; her daughter, Patricia Cribbs; and daughter in law, Debra Courson Cribbs.

She is survived by one son, William Cribbs; daughter, Regina Gaskin (Jerry), grandchildren, April Hayes (Russ), Stephanie Cribbs, Chris Gaskin (Lee), Kim Travis (Owen), and Jason Gaskin (Kiah); and 11 great grandchildren.
