Irene Hill Lamberth

Age 82, of Corinth, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Arrangements under the direction of McPeters Funeral Directors, Corinth, MS.

She was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ. She retired after 65 years of service as a nurse where she worked with Dr. Hurt for 13 years and then Dr. Sweat for 52 years in the same office. She enjoyed shopping and doing anything she could to help others.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Minister Charles Curtis and Minister Terry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Presbyterian Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and until service time on Wednesday.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Knox Underwood Lamberth of Guys, Tn.; two sons, Terry Lamberth (Angela) of Hohenwald, Tn. And Robert Lamberth (Becky) of Guys, Tn.; two sisters, Mabel Lou Smith (Billy) of Bartlett, Tn. And Mary Nell Allen (Bobby) of Jackson, Ms.; three brothers, David Hill of Tucson, Az., Wayne Hill of Florence, Tx., and Aaron Hill (Peggy) of Columbus, Ms.; and five grandchildren, Colton Carroll, Catelyn Lamberth, Calley Jo Lamberth, Anna Lamberth, and Amber Lamberth.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Mabel Springer Hill; an infant, Vickie Ann Lamberth; two brothers; and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be David Hill, Andrew Hill, Chris Smith, Danny Seago, Larry Seago, and Charles Seago.
