Iva Mae Hughes

Funeral services for Iva Mae Hughes, 82, of Corinth, are set for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Merl Dixon officiating. Burial will be in the Forrest Memorial Park cemetery .

Mrs. Hughes, a homemaker, died Saturday, February 12, 2011, at her residence. She was born July 30, 1928 to the late Howard and Mary Lou Downs. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Raymond Hughes of Corinth; two daughters, Brenda Hughes and significant other Frankie Marlar of Corinth and Kay Levendoski and husband Gene of Indiana; three sons, Tommy Hughes and wife Cindy, Wayne Hughes and wife Linda and Ray Hughes and wife Judy, all of Corinth; a brother, Lester Downs and wife Dorothy of Corinth; one sister, Annie Cummings of Corinth; 10 grandchildren, Bridget Talbot and husband Justin, Brittany Shoate and husband Justin, Denise Henry and husband Chad, Kimberly Hammond and husband Kim Wayne, Lexie Hughes, Valerie Hughes, Jessica Hughes, Clay Hughes and husband Kim, Jeff Patterson and wife Mary and Julia Patterson; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday February 14th from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and from noon until service time on Tuesday.
