

A Celebration of Life Service for James "Pako" Parker will be 1:00 pm Monday at Gaines Chapel Global Methodist Church with committal service to follow in the Henry Cemetery. A Family and Friends Gathering will be held following the graveside service at the First Presbyterian Church Youth House on Monday March 2, 2026.
Pako passed away February 26, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 18, 1941 to the late Hubert and Minnie Lee Perrigen Parker. He moved to Corinth in 1968. He worked at Tyrone Hydraulic as a Sales Engineer. He later owned Chat – Chew Diner for several years. Pako enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Allie Mae Parker; his son, Michael Parker; parents; and brother, Bobby Parker.
He is survived by his son, Gregg Parker (Debbie); grandchildren, Kara Reedy (Jake), JonMichael Parker, Jordan Parker, Tanner Parker (Lydie Glidewell), and Joel Parker (Catherine); great-grandchildren, Austin Casabella, Hayes Reedy, Parker Reedy, Kensley Parker, and Ezra Reedy; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers are JonMichael Parker, Jordan Parker, Joel Parker, Tanner Parker, Jake Reedy, and Aaron Rorie.
Honorary pallbearers are “The Columbus Gang” and Billy Gray.
