Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Jimmy Spencer will be at 1pm on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Jones officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5pm until 8pm and Friday from 12pm until service time at the funeral home.

Jimmy passed away on December 10, 2025 at his residence. Born on May 23, 1949 to the late John and Amy Spencer. He was a lifelong resident of Corinth, where he worked for over 30 years in the meat department at both Rogers and Gardner's supermarkets.

Outside of work, Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing. He loved sharing stories and laughter while playing cards with friends and family while creating memories that will be treasured forever.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Junior Spencer, Benny Spencer, and Bratton Spencer; sisters, Hester Kennedy and Evon Crum.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of of 55 years, Reatha Spencer; daughter, Jamie Elam (Frankie); son, Johnathan Spencer; grandchildren, Gage Smith (Kaitlyn), Addison Spencer, Caitlin Elam, and Mia Elam; great-granddaughter, Maylee Spencer; sister Addean Peters.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Elam, Gage Smith, Nathan Burcham, Terry Burcham, Michael Johnson, Keith Hughes and Honorary pallbearer David Killough.
