
John Davidson, Jr., 75, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. John was a member of First United Methodist Church of Corinth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. In 1964, John graduated from Memphis State University where he received his Business Administration degree. He later earned a transportation law degree. John and his wife currently own Diversified Logistics, P.C. specializing in Transportation Law and Logistics. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 29, 2011, 11:00 am at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Dr. Prentiss Gordon and Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, April 29, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Henry Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Davidson of Corinth; three sons, Brad Davidson of Corinth, Cullen Davidson of Fairhope, Al., and Johnny Davidson, III of Marion, Ark., and two sisters, Barbara Cox of Horseshoe Lake, Ark. And Peggy Walton of Baton Rouge, La.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Marguerite Davidson, Sr. and one son, Greg Davidson.
Pallbearers will be Gene McFall, Bob Krohn, Michael McFall, and Ben Avent.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. John’s coffee drinking friends from Martha’s Menu and McDonald’s.
