Joseph "Joe" McLemore Sr.

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Joseph "Joe" McLemore will be held at 1pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11am until service time. Burial will follow at Michie Church of God Cemetery.

Joe passed away on January 19, 2026 at Adamsville Healthcare and Rehab. He was born on December 25, 1938 to the late Lester and Sula McLemore. Joe dedicated many years to World Color, where he built a long and respected career. Joe was a minister in the Church of God; a man of deep faith who enjoyed preaching for many years.

As an avid motorcycle rider, he spent years traveling around the country and visited 48 states in the continental United States. He also enjoyed collecting but, above all, cherished spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Mary McLemore; son, Joseph McLemore, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Hill; grandsons, Adam Busby, Johnathan Smolik and Tyler McLemore; and granddaughter, Jessica McLemore.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Amie Espinosa; grandchildren, Keith Black, Casey Busby (Suzet) and Chase McLemore; and great-grandchildren, Laken Black, Vada Black, Collin Black, Caden Busby, and Carter Busby.
