

Services to celebrate the life of Margaret Price Perkins, 93 will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Waldron Street Christian Church with Bro. Ted Avant officiating and William McMullen providing music and reading. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery.
Mrs. Perkins died on June 8, 2016 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Columbus MS on July 24, 1922 to the late Frederick Carlton and Frances McKee Price. Margaret, a devoted Christian mother and grandmother, was active in Corinth at Waldron Street Christian Church as a teacher and in various activities, including choir. In 1999 she moved to Hendersonville, TN to be near her family and attended 1st Baptist Church of Hendersonville. She enjoyed music, reading, playing bridge and history, especially Civil War history having once served as Docent at the Corinth Civil War Museum.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband, E.S. Perkins; brothers, Carlton “Buster”, Vernon, and Jesse Price.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Anne Perkins Kimble (James), Carlton Gregory Perkins (Brenda), and Elliot Scott Perkins (Kim); grandchildren, Lisa Yonge Lacy (Dr. Curt), Courtney Yonge Stanback (Dr. John), Eric Yonge (Gina), Alison Perkins Workman (Trey), and Kelli Perkins Reeves (Carter); great-grandchildren, Rachel Stanback, John Neil Stanback, Keaton Lacy, Henry Yonge, Madilyn Reeves, and Mia Reeves; and a brother, Bill Price (Margaret); and a host of precious nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Curt Lacy, Dr. John Stanback, Eric Yonge, Trey Workman, Bill Price Jr, David Price, Danny McAnally, and Bill McAnally.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 at Waldron Street Christian Church.
Suggested Memorials are St Jude Children’s Hospital or Waldron Street Christian Church Building Fund.
