Marion Junior Butler

Celebration of Life for Marion Junior Butler 82 are set for 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Tuscumbia Baptist Church with Bro. Rodney Whittemore and Bro. Tony Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Butler died February 9, 2015 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born March 30, 1932 in McNairy Co. TN. To the late Hubert and Mollie Butler. He was a member of Butlers Chapel Baptist Church, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict serving as a SGT. He retired from Tyrone-Dana Corp after over 30 years. Enjoyed gardening, farming and reading the bible.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Vester Butler and James “Pete” Butler, sister Joyce B. Holmes.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Barbara Ann Dixon Butler of Corinth, MS. daughter Michelle (Rory) Carpenter of Moulton, Al. grandchildren Regan and Cameron Carpenter, sister Mildred B. Warren of Bartlett, TN., Host of other family and friends.
