Michael Rinehart

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Michael Rinehart will be on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11am at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm until 8pm and Friday from 10am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Kemps Chapel Cemetery.

Michael passed away on January 20, 2026 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1952 to the late R.C. and Evelyn Rinehart. Michael proudly served in the United States Army. He worked at Tyrone for many years before working at Intex before his retirement. He was a longtime member of Kemps Chapel Baptist Church.

Michael enjoyed fishing and gardening, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, whose smiles and memories he enjoyed

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Rinehart and grandson, Lincoln Dodds.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Lacy Dodds (Seth); son, Kenny Rinehart (Breann); daughter-in-law, Kelly Rinehart; brother, James Marlin (Peggy); and grandchildren, Olivia Dodds and Etta Dodds; and a host of other family and friends.
