Ricky N Phelps

A Celebration of Life Service for Ricky N. Phelps is set for 3:00 pm Monday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. James Voyles officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. A Family and Friends Gathering will be on Monday from 1:00 to service time at the funeral home.

Ricky passed away February 11, 2026 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1966 in Corinth, MS. He was of the Baptist faith, a former factory worker and an avid Alabama fan. Ricky enjoyed music, collecting baseball cards, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Bodkin; and his grandparents, Homer and Ray Phelps.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Twanna Bain Phelps; his sons, Nathan Phelps and Tyler Phelps; his grandchildren, Lizzy, Jacob, and Chelsea; brother, Joey Brock (Jennifer); sister, Vickie Barnett (Stevie); and a host of other family and friends.

The Phelps family would like to thank Ricky‘s hospice nurse, Amanda who went above and beyond while taking care of him; he truly loved her. Special thanks to "The Girls", Desiree and Sherry, who always brought joy and laughter, even though they are not Alabama fans!
