Mrs. Pittman died May 13, 2013 at her residence in the company of her loving family. Ruth was born May 10, 1927 in Alcorn Co. to the late Robert and Aner Warren Littlejohn. She was a housewife and member of Foote Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Herbert, Carl and William Littlejohn.
Her survivors are her loving husband of 66 years Arnold Pittman of Corinth, MS. She has five children; Marlin (Trudys) Pittman of Rienzi, MS, Margaret Pittman of Corinth, MS, Alan (Sherrie) Pittman of Stantonville, TN, Bernice (David) Eppes and Liz (Don) Fulgham of Bartlett, TN. Ruth’s grandchildren are Paul Pittman, April Pittman, Daniel Pittman, Rachel Pittman, Chris Mathis and Mackenzie Mathis. She left behind two sisters; Annette (LeRoy) Leigh of Memphis, TN and Betty (Des) Moore of Hurst, TX. She also has a number of extended family and friends.
