

Mr. Adams died on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Veterans Home in Oxford, MS.
Mr. Adams was born October 13, 1926 to the late Rev. John Harvey and Parmelia Warford Adams. He was a member and served as a deacon at North Corinth Baptist Church. He was a WWII veteran with the United States Army and also served in the Mississippi National Guard. He was an employee of Wurlitzer the greater part of his working career, and also Magnolia Regional Health Center and later the Alcorn County Sheriff Department until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Lottie Mathis Adams, his parents, two brothers: John Quincy Adams and William Albert Adams, three sisters: Annie Davis Farris, Lillie Mills Mincey and Ruth Adams Alvarez.
He is survived by his three children: Sheila Adams Driste (Michael), Nathan K. Adams (Debra), both of Corinth, Anthony K. Adams (Diana) of Rodeo, California. Grandchildren: Jamie Morrow Counce (Chuck) of Corinth, Misty Morrow Little (Mark) of Saltillo, Gabriel W. Adams and Bailey C. Adams of Rodeo, California. Great-grandchildren: Charles Ellis Counce, Ainsley Elizabeth Counce, Samuel Grady Counce, Marcus Taft Little, Jr., Lacey Elizabeth Little and William Thomas Little.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the building fund of North Corinth Baptist Church or the Haiti MissionTrip fund of the First Baptist Church in Corinth, MS.
