Sara Elizabeth Biggers Worsham

Sara Elizabeth Biggers Worsham, 90, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Corinth High School and Mississippi State College for Women.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dennis Smith and Rev. Bill Bradford officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8p.m. at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Henry Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Leroy Worsham of Corinth; two daughters, Jan Wood (Walker) of Corinth and Sally Sharlow (Jeff) of Ocean Springs, Ms.; one brother, Dr. J.D. Biggers, III of Corinth; three grandchildren, Jim Wood (Jenny) of French Camp, Ms., Emily Cadle (Nick) of Clinton, Ms., and Burton Rabby of Ocean Springs, Ms.; and five great grandchildren, Hayes, Halea, and Sadie Kate Wood of French Camp, Ms., and Claire and Jake Cadle of Clinton, Ms.

Mrs. Worsham was preceded in death by her parents, J. D. and Adrienne Taylor Biggers and one sister Janis Biggers Reece.

Pallbearers will be Jim Wood, Nick Cadle, Burton Rabby, Hayden Worsham, Hank Leonard, Ben Worsham, Wesley Worsham, Chuck Reece, Lon Taylor, III, and David Biggers.

Mrs. Worsham’s family requested memorials be made to the David Biggers Orphanage c/o First Presbyterian Church 919 Shiloh Road Corinth, Ms. 38834 in lieu of floral arrangements.
