Shirley Burcham

Graveside Services to Celebrate the Life of Shirley Burcham, 87, is set for 2:00 pm Sunday March 26, 2023 at Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:50 pm at McPeters Funeral Directors.

Shirley passed away on March 23,2023 at Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka, MS. She was born on July 3,1935 to the late John and Mary Jones. She was a member of Kendrick Baptist Church. Shirley retired from Kimberly Clark where she worked for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her time on her farm where she enjoyed her cows.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, Billy Burcham; and her siblings, Bessie Page, Vernon Jones, Bill Jones, and J.T Jones.

She is survived by daughters, Patsy Hearne (James), Dianne Daniel, Rita Simpson (Paul), Joyce Smith (Greg); her siblings, Verneal Hicks and Bobby Jones; grandchildren, Jennifer Bentley, Alissa Banks, Jamie Beall, David Hearne, Krista Schrider, Shauna Bostick, Joshua "Bubba" Daniel, Matthew Simpson, Ian Simpson, Tyler Smith and Taylor Smith; 21 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include David Hearne, Bubba Daniel, Matthew Simpson, Ian Simpson, Tyler Smith and Taylor Smith.
