Services to celebrate the life of William (Bill) Frederick Teuber, III, 75, will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 12 noon at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time.
Bill passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on January 22, 1950, in Chicago, IL, Bill was the son of the late Helen Peter Teuber and William Frederick Teuber, Jr. He was raised in Chicago alongside his two brothers and from an early age demonstrated the traits that would define his life: unwavering loyalty, a strong work ethic, and a gift for fixing just about anything.
Bill retired from a long and dedicated career at World Color Corporation, where he was respected not only for his diligence but for his quick wit and sarcastic humor that lightened even the most stressful days. Outside of work, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures: fishing, boating, and long hours spent tinkering in the garage. An avid fisherman, Bill often said, “A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.” He cherished time on the water and never passed up a chance to cast a line. He also took great pride in working on his prized 2001 Ford F-150 Super Crew and his “antique” Nissan Maxima, keeping them running with the same tenacity he brought to all aspects of life.
A man of many interests, Bill was also a devoted pet lover, a determined (and often heartbroken) Chicago Bears fan, and a skilled bowler. But above all, he was a family man. He believed in firm yet compassionate guidance, always showing up when his family needed him--quietly, consistently, and without fail.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Roslynn Teuber of Corinth; his daughters, Jeannie Teuber of Corinth and Nicole Cruz (Albert) of Sunnyvale, CA; and his cherished granddaughter, Emily Cruz. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary (Gloria) Teuber of South Barrington, IL and Peter (Josephine) Teuber of Lake Zurich, IL; and several nieces and nephews who will remember his humor and his heart.
He was preceded in death by his son, Peter Teuber; his parents, Helen Peter Teuber and William Frederick Teuber, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Arlene Lesak and Richard Lesak.
His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched—with every cast of a fishing line, every tinkered repair, and every laugh sparked by his dry wit.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making an honorary donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
