William Audrey White

Funeral services for William Audrey White are set for 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donald Skully and Bro. David Harstin officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Michie.

Mr. White died on Tuesday, April 8th at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was born on March 3, 1927 to the late Eula and Ottis Nichols White. Mr. White served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Alcorn County Civil Defense, a member of the American Legion, and a reserve deputy on the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department. He also worked as an automotive paint and repair man at Lannings Chevrolet and was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church.

Along with his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Juanita Robbins White and one sister, Ina Jo White.

Survivors include one son, Larry White and wife Doris; one daughter, Evonne Moore and husband Kenny; one brother, William “Snooks” White; one sister, Martha Lee Mulberger; one granddaughter, Maleah White; and two step-grandsons, Jacob and Benjamin Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M on Thursday, April 10th at the funeral home.
