

Adam Michael EVANS – it is with broken hearts and shattered souls we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son on July 20, 2024. Adam succumbed to his injuries after a tragic rock climbing accident in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. While on vacation he was loving life, pursuing his passions and exploring this beautiful world. As we mourn the loss of our son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend let us celebrate his beautiful, kind and unique spirit and the 27 years of bringing joy, laughter and happiness into our lives.
Born on May 24, 1997 Adam was the beloved son of Natalie and Mark Evans and Larry Ross (Olena). Cherished brother of Noah, Joshua (Jessyca), Amanda (Nicholas), Jordan (Torrie), Eric (Mandy), Curtis (Émilie) and Taylor (Adam). Precious grandson of Krystyna and late John Szymkowiak, Carole Ross, and Allen and late Anne Evans. Treasured uncle of Findley, Ellie Rae, Theo, Levi, Hank and Haley. Adored nephew of Lillian Szymkowiak and Michael and Jenny Szymkowiak. He will be sorrowfully missed by many more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from the Evans, Szymkowiak and Ross families.
Adam will be welcomed home on Tuesday July 30, 2024 for a private family gathering.
Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street W. (613-933-8482) on Wednesday July 31, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 01, 2024 in St. Andrews Parish at 11 a.m. followed by interment at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. This bursary will support local youth from Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, and Akwesasne ensuring Adam’s legacy continues to support and inspire other adventurous souls.
