HOWARD, Constance “Connie” – Peacefully at the Hospice Cornwall with her family by her side, on Monday March 25, 2013. Connie Veronica Howard, of Cornwall age; 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Mel Howard and the late Ross Westley. Dear mother of Kevyn Major Howard, Kim Laforest and Kelsey Howard (Wendy) all of Los Angeles, Kirby Howard of B.C, step mother of Deirdre Thompson (Lee ) of Michigan and Betty-Anne Schroder (Tony) of Elliot Lake. Cherished grandmother of Dominic and Tyson Laforest. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents the late Theodore Major and the late Marjorie (Pigeon) Major, by her brother Leslie Major, and by her eight sisters, Bernice, Agnes, Marie, Kitty, Rita, Carol and two infant sisters. The family would like to thank the Nurses of the Cornwall Community Hospital, the at Home Care Nurses and Support Workers for their care and compassion and an extended thank you to Dr. Shah and Dr. Leigh for their on going support. In honour of our mom’s favourite colour, please wear a touch of blue to the service. Cremation. The family will be in attendance Saturday from 12 p.m., until the time of Funeral.
