I had the amazing pleasure of growing up next to Cindy in Montreal for a few years and followed up by attending Kinkoa summer camp with her after having moved farther away.  Cindy was an amazing person alround that radiated a light everywhere she was with her fantastic personality.  She picked me out on a Montreal bus after not having been in contact for many years.  Had tried to find/contact her a few years ago after having moved back to Montreal to hopefully continue our special friendship but elas without luck.  The world is so much better having had Cindy in it.  She touched a great many people especially this one that would have been tickled pink to have met her again.  Cindy, you are missed very much and I look forward to meeting you once more in heaven when my trip there will take place.  Hopefully you will give me a few pointers how things work.  I really enjoyed your attending  my birthday parties when we were kids.   Would have loved to meet you one more time.  Rest in piece my very dear friend.  One more person missed you & feels the void you left on this earth.

Gone too soon. Beautiful lady always smiling and upbeat. Last time we spoke love of family and you  impressed me with yet another hidden talent; this one more artistic in nature.  When you spoke to someone you were fully engaged with them and oh those hugs.

Even now I can’t speak aloud what I feel. I am sorry that what I feel about losing Cindy,  who was the glue in my disjoined, elongated sense of family. I’ve known Cindy since early on in 1980, she was a contact of mine in my early years in music spectacle production. Then I left Canada to study and live in the States. My eyes well up, I don’t see the keypad clearly. Gone are those days. I hope with the joy and love she brought out to the world to see and share what ll lighten this loss. Cindy and Rich welcomed me when I returned to Canada. Amanda (and Joe), Mathew (and Shannon) know that there is a shining star above to guide and support you. Rich, if I’m lost of broken, please know that Heaven has Cindy safe and she can shine on from above. I miss her, and

We were saddened to learn of the passing of our friendly neighbor from the lake. We have fond memories of Cindy and your family at the cottage where we went over the summer months to enjoy good times and unwind from our work life. My sweet loving, caring Cindy. You were my heart.  I asked you once to draw a unicorn in your request for a day off and you gave me every unicorn you happened upon with your generous soul and it became our thing. I have them all still. I’m devastated and so shocked and  that for once in my life have no words. I can still feel your hugs and that is what I’ll use as comfort in your absence. Rest well my beautiful Cindy.

My Mother Agi Farkas and I were heartbroken to hear this very sad news. Our hearts go out to all her Family and to everyone else who knew your beautiful Cynthia. My sister Sylvia Keseru  just passed at the age of 59 as well .. she went to school with Cynthia and was so very fond of her and loved her. ... I am sure she was there to welcome her home along with so many others . I met Cynthia when my Mom was ill at St Mary's and fell in love with her as did my Mom.  She was a gentle loving soul who went out of her way to bring comfort and smiles when needed most.  May you rest in Heavenly peace Cynthia . Sending the family love and comfort during this most difficult time.

Cindy. First she was my colleague, then my dear friend. We spend many evenings working together and then in our way home she was reading poems to me, poems that she was hoping to bring together in a book. She was kind, intelligent, she loved so much her family, husband,  children and her grandchildren.  She was always smiling and she had a kind word for everybody. I will always remember what am amazing person she was. My heart is broken and empty. My deepest condolences to her family .

Cindy was like a mother to me when I first started at St-Mary’s hospital. We worked together often.  I will always remember her words of wisdom and how she loved talking about her family. She will be truly missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to the whole family.

A real gift to anyone lucky enough to have you in their lives.
I will never forget our talks in the lounge while you were knitting a new masterpiece.

I am sorry that you have to experience this loss.   Cindy touched so many lives and made differences that she probably never even knew about.    I will always remember her for her contagious laugh and charm that made you feel welcome and accepted.  I really liked her ability to  share her experiences and make you feel as if you were there when it happened.   Cindy will be missed by many people and I offer my deepest condolences to you and your family.

Though our lives went separate directions and regardless of the circumstances, I always had a powerful connection with my sister. A synchronicity of sorts. We loved the same things from our childhood and we shared that connection every time we communicated.  Things like a Charlie Brown Christmas or the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown were family traditions we both cherished and wanted to relive them every holiday. We were both nerds that way. We never outgrew that in our adulthood. It’s not like we discussed it and did it in agreement. We separately observed that these traditions because it meant so much to both of us and tied us together, even though busy lives, got in our way most of the time. It was a super strong connection only a brother and sister could have. It’s like we both knew we were doing it and thinking of each other and the family memories. It was related to the memories like when at Christmas time our father would take me to get the Christmas tree and we carried it home together and at Halloween our father would take my sister to get the pumpkin….all those little things made a strong impression on our childhood.  We shared the memories of those holiday TV shows and memories that connected us every time we spoke on the phone. Cindy used to tell me how she forced her children to watch those holiday classic cartoons every year because it was super important to her as it was to me. Somehow Cindy wanted to pass on that tradition or share that emotional feeling of tradition with her children. It’s simple things like this that made an enduring connection between myself and my sister, and even though we didn’t communicate as often as I would’ve liked over the years, those memories and these traditions are all I have left of her, and I will remember and observe them for the rest of my life.  Without Cindy, these traditions are  even more important to me.

I miss and I love you Cindy.

Ron and I are sending our condolences to you and your family.  We are very sorry for loss.  I remember her when she was working on the 8th floor and when she also worked in the operating room.  We would meet in passing when riding the elevator.  She always had a smile, always upbeat and always asked about how the family was doing.  She was a wonderful lady and she will be truly missed in the halls and everywhere else in St. Mary's.
