It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Darlene Mary Brunet (née Hanton) at the Cornwall Community Hospital with family by her side on Sunday March 8, 2026, at the age of 68.
Beloved wife of 14 years to Roger Brunet. Loving mother of: Kyle Walker (Ashley), Sarah Walker (Justin Swift), and Bailey Walker (Tyler Ezard); and stepmother of: Carrie Jodoin (Randy), James Brunet, Sarah Brunet (Adam Filion) and Sam Brunet. Cherished grandmother of: Logan, Isaiah, Hudson and Elliot; and step grandmother of: Amber (late), Cameron, Roenick, Carson and Reese. Dear daughter of Annette (née Derouchie) and the late Clarence Hanton. Treasured sister of: Francine Nurse (Ian), Mike Hanton (Linda), Scott Hanton (Diane) and Paul Hanton (Diane).
She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 28th, 2026 at the RCAFA Wing (240 Water Street W, Cornwall, ON) between the hours of 1:00PM to 6:00PM.
