Beloved husband of Doris Holford (née Reid) for over 67 years.
Loving father of Terri Holford and Susan Holford (Brian Power). Proud grandfather of Richard and Patrick. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Richard and Amy (née Shayler) Holford and his brother Clive Holford.
David was a proud member of the RAF and RCAF serving initially as a Flight Lieutenant on Argus patrols and later as an Air Traffic Controller. He continued his career in Air Traffic Control with Transport Canada and Nav Canada, retiring in 1999 as an Air Traffic instructor. He was also a lifelong ham radio operator, call sign VE3HLU.
Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL on Thursday, November 13, 2025, between the hours of 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
