Beloved wife of Pierre Marcotte and devoted mother of her adored son Jean Marcotte. Treasured sister-in-law of Jocelyne Chambers (Alex), Michele Mair and Anne-Marie Mason (Michael).
Predeceased by her parents Alcide and Jeanne (née Geoffrion) Lamoureux as well as her siblings Richard “Dick” Lamoureux (Gisèle) and Paulette McMillan (Keith).
The family would like to thank the staff of the Cornwall Community Hospital Dialysis Unit for the amazing care she received the past year and Hospice Cornwall for the exceptional care Denise received these last weeks.
As per Denise’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will be in attendance at Lahaie and Sullivan West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10 am until the time of service. A Memorial service will be held in the funeral home Chapel at 1:00 pm.
If so desired, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Hospice Cornwall would be greatly appreciated by the family.
