Labelle, Donna – peacefully with family by her side after a courageous battle with progressive superanuclear palsy (psp), at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the age of 76 years. Beloved mother of Jason Firth (Tara) of Airdrie Alberta and Holly Firth (Bruce) of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of Jayda Allen (Tristian), Kaitryn Allen all of Cornwall and Ryan Firth of Airdrie Alberta. Cherished sister of Brenda Deschamps (Roger) of Cornwall, Sue-Ann Bartch (Ron) of Morrisburg, Shelley Andrews (Chris) of Calmar Alberta, Penny Bartch (Lynn) of Cornwall, Cindy Bartch of Long Sault and the late Lynn Bartch and the late Randy Bartch. Dear daughter of the late Donald Bartch and the late Verley Gaines. Donna was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an avid volunteer for the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge meals on wheels program for 19 years, volunteer for Red Cross providing transportation for those in need and your committed local Avon lady. Donna will be sadly missed by many. The family wish to extend their heartfelt thank you and appreciation to the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge for the care and compassion Donna received, Shannon and Brian your care will always be revered. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home 341 Pitt Street (613-938-1039). In keeping with Donna’s wishes a private family gathering will be held to Celebrate her life.
