AMIRAULT, Douglas J. – it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doug Amirault on Wednesday, December 1st at the age 83 years. Beloved husband of Diane Arsenault-Amirault. Loved father of Ivan (Fareeda), Wayne (Cathy), Maureen Hamilton (Ken) and Laura Kitching (Derreck). Dear step-father of Gerard Desjardins (Tammy), Sylvain Desjardins (Jessy) and Natalie Cardinal (Norm). Proud grandfather of Kevin, Sarah, Tyler, Cory, Rachel, Rebecca, Devin, Paige, Johnathan and Justin and great-grandfather to Landon, Tenley, Ashlynn and Gwen. Cherished grampy to Kody, Brady, Emily, Noah and Caleb and great-grampy to one on the way, baby Kelly. Survived by his children’s mother, Lorraine Trahan. Son of the late Theodore and Catherine (née Smith) Amirault. Predeceased by one brother, Peter. An attendance-controlled visitation will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm and on Monday from 9am until time of Funeral.
