Elreen Gagnier

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elreen Gagnier, who left this world peacefully at the age of 86. Elreen was a woman of grace, compassion, and unwavering positivity, whose love and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.

Elreen shared 59 years of marriage with her husband, Ronald. Together, they built a home filled with love and cherished memories, raising three children: Claire, Gilles and Denise.

Elreen was a proud grandmother to her adored grandsons, Preston and Cole her pride and joy. She also shared a special bond with her daughter-in-law Nancy, son-in-law Rick, Jerry (daughter Bella) her niece Collette who took extra special care of her they were all truly part of her family.

Those who knew Elreen will remember her as a pure soul whose warmth and compassion radiated in everything she did. Her legacy is one of love, kindness strength and resilience.

While her loss leaves a deep void, we find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved children, Claire and Gilles, and other loved ones in Heaven.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home 341 Pitt Street (613-938-1039). A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday November 28, 2024 in St. Francis de Sales Church 434 Second Street West Cornwall at 11 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery to follow.
