Beloved husband to late Stella Seguin (née Sauve). Loving father of: Raymond Seguin (Diane), Carmen Bergeron (Richard), Normand Seguin (Rachelle), Linda Bissonnette (Rosaire), Marc Seguin (Karen) and Christine Saucier (Stephen, and formerly Albert Saucier). Proud grandfather of 11; and great grandfather of 14.
Fernand is predeceased by his parents Alexandre and Marie Blanche (née Bourbonnais) Seguin; his grandson Jean Seguin; his brothers: Rheal Seguin (late Lucienne), Roland Seguin (late Delima), Rene Seguin (late Clemente), Gerard Seguin (late Gladys), and Jean-Louis Seguin (late Pauline, and the late Therese); and his sisters: Rachel Bruyere (late Romeo), Fernande Marcil (Emile), Yvette Cardinal (late Leo), Helene Levac (late Jean-Louis), Lucille Lafrance (late Fernand), Therese Louiselle (late Aurele), and Cecile Seguin (late Yvon).
The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to all the care givers at Southbridge Long Term Care Home. They went above and beyond the call of duty.
In keeping with Fernand’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL on Saturday November 1, 2025, between the hours of 9:00AM to 12:00PM prior to a Service of Remembrance that will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 12:00PM.
Interment to take place at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall and District would be greatly appreciated by the family.
