Georgina Lalonde Desnoyers

Passed away peacefully at the Dundas Manor on March 6, 2017; age of 85 years, with her loving girls by her side. Beloved wife of the late Raoul Desnoyers. Loving mother of Liliane Cadieux (Gilles), Suzanne Desnoyers (Brian), Joanne Armstrong (Bruce), Diane Seguin (Roger), Shirley-Anne Ross (Gordon), the late Maurice Desnoyers and recently the late Vivian Robinson (Lee). Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late John (Louis) Lalonde and the late Bernadette Boisvenue. Dear sister of Pearl Whitford (late Earl), Pauline Anderson (late James), Eva Renwick (late Roy), Earl Lalonde (late Isabel), Roger Lalonde (Shirley), Anita Jodoin (Morley), Elaine Durocher (late John), Lawrence Lalonde (Jean), Florence Lalonde (Wayne) and Coleen McCourt (late Brian). Predeceased by her brother Louis Lalonde, sisters Alexina Seguin (late Rene) and Geraldine Delorme (late Paul). Georgina will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to the Dundas Manor Palliative Team for their care and compassion. To the homecare Personal Support Workers as well as volunteers, who worked endlessly and gave their gift of time to ensure mom received the best care and ability to remain at home for as long as possible, and in the process, became like family. Your kindness, compassion, and friendship will always be appreciated. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 9 a.m. Monday. Funeral Monday, May 15, 2017 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association or Carefor Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
