DOUGLAS, Gerald – Retired City of Cornwall Bus Driver for 40 years - At Heartwood Long Term Care on Thursday October 5, 2017. He was 91. Beloved husband of the late Marion (Russell) Douglas. Dear father of Lawrence Douglas (Susan), Marie Douglas and the late Leona Primeau. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Kim, Tracy, Shawn, Matthew, Dwayne, Lindsay, 7 great grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Kyra, Zachary, Ethan, Austin, Emily and 3 great great grandchildren, Aubryn, Hayden and Haisley. Survived by one brother Allan Douglas (Sylvia) and 2 sisters, Norma Levy (late Stanley) and Beverly Hink (Douglas). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary Eva (Major) Douglas. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Sunday from 2 – 4pm an 7 – 9pm and on Monday from 9 – 9:30am. Funeral Mass Monday October 9, 2017 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 434 Second Street West, at 10am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery, at a later date.
