DUPUIS, Gerald – Peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Gerald Dupuis of Cornwall; age 76 years. Beloved husband of Annie Kootoo. Loving father of Gerard (Barbara) Dupuis of Kansas, Evie (Tony) Kootoo-Dupuis of Iqaluit, Dayton (Manon) Kootoo-Dupuis of Cornwall and Christopher Kootoo-Dupuis of Cornwall. Beloved step-father of Carmen Kootoo of Iqaluit, Mandy (Justin) Kootoo-Haldy of Edmonton and Issiac Kootoo of Iqaluit. Dear brother of Muriel (late James) Cossaboom of Williamsburg, Hilda (Harvey) Provost of Cornwall, Veronica (Franklin) Miller of Fredricton, N.B., Eileen Bilow of Kingston, Audrey (Geoff) Daniel of Perth, Doris (Don) Clarey of Plantagenet, Patricia (Lloyd) Stacey, Lyle (Aline) Dupuis both of Lunenburg, Irvin (Janice) Dupuis of Osnabruck Centre and Wayne (Margaret) Dupuis of Ottawa. Missed by 20 grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Madeleine (nee Wattie) Dupuis. Also predeceased by his daughter Mary and infant daughter Madeleine, and by his brothers Francis and Vincent. Will be lovingly missed by many friends and family. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 1:30 pm on Thursday. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday January 14, 2016 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2:30 pm.
