Dear son of the late Lionel Omer and the late Rita (née Stang) Forgues. Treasured brother of Suzanne Depatie (Paul), Lionel Forgues, and Carole Menard.
Predeceased by his siblings: Gisele Leduc (Clement), Estelle Forgues (Riekus), Denise Benoit and Roland Forgues.
He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In keeping with Gerald’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH (20 SEVENTH STREET W, CORNWALL, ON) on Wednesday May 27, 2026, between the hours of 12:00PM to 2:00PM.
Prior to a Service of Remembrance that will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2:00PM.
Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations may be made out to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
