LEGER, Gilberte – peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Leger. Loving mother of Andre (Judy) of Cornwall and Denise McLean (Stephen) of Kingston. Cherished grandmother of Louanne Leger, Chantal Flynn (Sean), Michel Leger, Scott McLean (Noelle Leombruni), Allison McLean (Valerie Reneaud) and proud great grandmother of Myles, Madilyn, Amelia, the late Leo and the late Lily and chosen great grandmother of Tayla. Dear sister of Jeanne Leduc (the late Bernard) and Gisele Seguin (the late Gerard) both of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents Arthur Lalonde, Annette Major and one sister Jacqueline Dumoulin (the late Ernest). Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. The family wish to invite family and friends who are unable to attend to view the Service live or on replay at ( https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/47832 ).
