SALHANY, Hilda Leona (Lalonde) – At the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday March 11, 2015. She was 78. She leaves her loving husband of 56 years, Michael Raymond Salhany. Dear mother of Wayne (Renée) and Ian (Cathy). Sadly missed by two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Marlow. Predeceased by her parents, Henry Lalonde and Alida (Cardinal) Merpaw, her step-father, Cornelius "Neil" Merpaw and two sisters, Theresa “Terry” Lascelle (Late Wally) and Cecile Lalonde (Late Leo). Friends are requested to assemble at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall for a Service on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 2:30pm. Committal, Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
