HICKEY, John Burt – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday May 22, 2014. He was 84. Loving husband of Grace Hickey. Dear father of Kathleen “Kathy” Hickey (Michel Brunet) and Patricia “Patty” Besner (Raymond Jr.). Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren, Katie Vachon (Eric), Ryan Meek, Robert “BJ” Chesebro, Alexandra Besner, Shane Besner and 4 great grandchildren, Ethan, Nevaeh, Tienna and Hayden. Also survived by 3 brothers, Walter (Madeleine), Gordon (Merilyn), and David Hickey (Audrey). Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Eva Mary (Burt) Hickey, one sister, Mae Fitzpatrick and one brother, Elwin Hickey (Nancy). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Wednesday 12 Noon - 1:45pm. Funeral Wednesday May 28, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home at 2pm.
