MASSIA, Leopold “Leo” (Owner of Belgium Store and Founder of L&M Guns) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday March 10, 2016. He was 90. He leaves his loving wife of 72 years, Beatrice “Bea” (Larose) Massia. Loving father of Michael Massia (Claire Renshaw) and Betty Fobert (Terry). Sadly missed by 2 grandchildren, Melissa (James Wilson) and Tara and 4 great grandchildren, Mason, Regan, Brenna and Kenzie. Predeceased by his parents, Archibald and Rose (Brown) Massia and sister, Eileen Gibeault (late Bernie). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Sunday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Monday from 12 Noon – 1:30pm. Funeral Mass, Monday March 14, 2016 at Precious Blood Catholic Church at 2pm followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
