McALEAR, Louise Irene – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Louise McAlear (Vincent) of Cornwall, age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph (Joe) McAlear. Cherished mother of Sister Mary McAlear s.s.c.j. of Ottawa, Hugh McAlear of Cornwall, Michael McAlear (Dorothy) of Orleans, Patricia (Mrs. Peter Willems) of St. Eugene, Vincent McAlear (Sue) of Long Sault, Shelley (Mrs. Brent McLaren) of Perth, Helen McAlear and Rosemary McAlear both of Cornwall. Predeceased by two infant daughters Marie and Maria. Dear daughter of the late George Vincent and the late Adella Leroux. Dear sister of Margaret Jamieson (late Morley) of Gananoque and John Vincent (Dolores) of Cornwall. Predeceased by 4 brothers Gilbert, Wilfred, Francis (Frankie) and Arthur and 3 sisters Wilda (Dolly) Martin, Zilda (Zeddie) Leroux and Freda St. Louis. Loving grandmother of 14 granchildren and 13 great grandchildren plus 3 adopted through love, and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 7 p.m. Saturday . Funeral Monday, October 8, 2012 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter’s Church at 11 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance Saturday from 7-9 p.m. , Sunday from 2- 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Children’s Treatment Center would be appreciated by the family.

All members of the St. Peter’s C.W.L. are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home on Sunday October 7, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. for visitation and prayers for the late Louise McAlear. An honour guard is requested for the Funeral Mass.
