GOUGEON, Lucille “Lulu” - It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucille Gougeon on September 13, 2023 at the Cornwall Community Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
She leaves behind her common-law husband and best friend, Ray Bourget. In addition, her 2 sons, Donny (Amy) Lalonde and Derek Lalonde who were her whole heart. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Hailey, Jakob, Liam and Laycie who brought so much joy into her life. Her sisters Suzanne Gougeon of Ottawa, Denise Gougeon of Cornwall and Monique (Wayne) Read of Cornwall. Her brothers Marcel Gougeon of Ottawa and Guy Gougeon of Cornwall. She is predeceased by her parents Remi Gougeon and Simone (Cleroux) Gougeon, her brothers Jacques (Claire) Gougeon, Paul (Lise) Gougeon, Maurice Gougeon and Gaetan Gougeon. Arrangements are under the care and direction of LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 SEVENTH STREET W. (613-932-8482). Cremation will take place.
