Cherished mother of Terrance Stratchan of Ottawa, beloved sister of Kenneth (Carol) of Montreal, and Lawrence Morin of Cornwall. Much loved and cherished aunt of Hubert Bellmore (Heather), Garnet Bellmore (Pam), Larry Bellmore (Louise), and Terry Bellmore (Amy), all of Cornwall and many other nieces and nephews of Ottawa and great nieces and nephews of Ottawa and Toronto and Cornwall.
Merna was predeceased by her parents Albert Morin and Viola (nee Laplante), by her two brothers Albert Junior and Charlie, and her seven sisters, Clora Prevost, Theresa Morin, Mary Morin, Muriel Morin, Christina Bellmore, Irene Bellmore, and Nora Prevost.
The family will be in attendance at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street, Cornwall 613-938-1039, opposite City Hall, from 9:00 A.M. Monday, April 17, 2023, until 1:00 P.M. at which time a Liturgy of Word will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall.
