Neil Archie Loynachan

Beloved husband of late Maureen (née Pickup) Loynachan.

Loving father of Heather Loynachan (Gordon “Kanon” Laffin), Bonnie Woodside (Jason), Cindy Loynachan (Tommy Lauzon), Jason Pickup (Melissa), Tyler Loynachan and Lacey Loynachan (Dave Sears). Proud grandfather of Griffin (Emily), Turner (Grace), Brooklyn, Sierra, Neil, Sabrina (Kyle), Peyton, Aubrey, Brody, Ella, Wade, Brandon and Jordan. Dear brother of Al Loynachan (Elly) and Howie Loynachan (Lorie). Sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Michael Pickup, Pat Pickup, Perry Pickup (Kathy) and his sister-in-law Marilyn Watkins (Dean). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Howard and Irene (née Fickes) Loynachan and his sisters-in-law Derla Loynachan, Cecile Pickup and his mother-in-law Beverley Ray.

Neil loved his family and anything country. He enjoyed drives in the countryside, farming and anytime he could spend in the bush. He was a hard worker and knew how to let loose, always up for a cold beer and a good time. He brought a smile to many faces and will be greatly missed.

He can now be reunited with his loving wife and parents who he cherished.

Gone but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the beloved family farm in Northfield Station on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 starting at 1:00 pm.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home West Branch (613-932-8482).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Carefor Health & Community Services of Eastern Counties would be appreciated by the family.
