Peter Arthur Dawson

Peter will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Shirley Laframboise.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Doris (nee Tyson). Survived by his brothers, John and Derek.

Loving father/stepfather of Colin Dawson (Erica), David Dawson (Sian), Michelle Crites-Dawson (Tony), late Paul Dawson (Cynthia), Patty Lalonde (Randy), Debbie Prevost (Daniel), Robin Laframboise (Debbie).

Adored by his grandchildren; Brooke, Spencer, Jessey, Jordan, Rachel, Bobby, Jayden, Lexi, Ashley, Allison, Brittany, Taylor, Alexandra, Jillian, Jacob. And many great grandchildren.

Peter was a man of adventure who embraced life with curiosity and courage. In his younger years, he proudly served in the British military as a Scots Guard, a role that reflected his strength, discipline, and dedication. Throughout his life he remained a true world traveler, finding joy in exploring new places and experiences. He later spent many years working as a long-haul transport driver, feeling most at home on the open road. Beyond his travels and work, he cherished the simple pleasures – time spent with family and friends, the companionship of his pets, and quiet moments fishing.

He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him.
