Dear father of Julie Deguire (Serge) and Kevin Mayer (Brenda Calve). Cherished grand-father of Alexandre and KathryneDeguire and Daniel and Melanie Spooner. Special great-grand father of Aryia Spooner. Son of the late Leo and Blanche (neé Leduc) Mayer. Survived by sister, Lucille Lapierre, sister-in-law, Jeannette Mayer and brother-in-laws, Hubert Benson and Lucien Carriere. Predeceased by brothers, Aime, Lionel, Lucien and Rene and by sisters, Fleur-Ange Benson, Solonge St. Onge, Rollande Cote and Fernande Carriere. Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482)on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 9 a.m. until time of Service. A Memorial Service will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. Inurnment on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Notre Dame Cemetery.
