MARSOLAIS, Rita – Peacefully at the Janet McDonell Pavilion on Monday, October 7, 2013. Rita Eva Marsolais (Deslauriers) of Cornwall; age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Henry Marsolais. Cherished mother of Vicky Leroux (Ron), Linda Deslauriers, Henry Jr. (Lucie), Sue Pilgrim (Ron), all of Cornwall, Carol Marsolais ( late Larry Coleman) of Prince George, B.C., Keith (Joyce) of Long Sault, and Richard “Beatle” (Janice) of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by one son Bernie. Dear daughter of the late John Deslauriers and the late Bertha Emard. Survived by sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, also survived by daughter in law Gail Marsolais. Predeceased by one grandson, Jean-Pierre, and by three brothers Roger, Rolland and Ronald and one sister Theresa Fontaine. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral Saturday October 12, 2013, for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columbans Church at 10 A.M. Interment St. Columbans Cemetery. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral on Saturday.
